Yuzvendra Chahal joins the RCB squad ahead of the tournament

Yuzvendra Chahal has joined the RCB squad with his wife Dhanashree for the remainder of the IPL

The Indian Premier League was unfortunately postponed in May due to the COVID-19 scare among the players. After a long gap, it will resume on 19th September back in Dubai. All the franchises are already preparing for the same. Amidst this, Yuzvendra Chahal joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore yesterday. He will be completing his quarantine and then will join the rest of the squad.

Unfortunately, Yuzvendra Chahal did not have a very good season in the first phase of the league, but ahead of phase two, he is hopeful of a strong comeback. Recently, the Team India squad was announced. Yuzvendra Chahal missed a spot in the tournament too.

After a successful touchdown in UAE, Chahal shared a video on his Instagram account. Then, he shared a tweet post (now deleted) that read: “Not Finished”. As a result, It was followed by a reel that depicted his journey to UAE with his wife Dhanashree Verma with the song “Aashaein” which means to keep the “hope alive”.

Hoping that Yuzvendra Chahal can have a better Ipl phase two and is back stronger. The Royal Challengers Bangalore go against the Kolkata Knight Riders on 20th September live from Abu Dhabi. Best of luck to the entire squad!
