The Rock’s Return Rumored for RAW, Could Shift WWE Storylines
In the past few weeks, there have been many reports about The Rock’s return, but none have confirmed anything. Last year, he returned before WrestleMania and got involved in a feud with Cody Rhodes. This year, it’s rumored that The Rock will appear on the January 6th episode of Raw. While there’s no official confirmation, the latest update suggests he might make an appearance.
Dwayne Johnson confirmed on social media that he will be a presenter at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards. The ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 5th, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, which is about 20 minutes from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
His movie Moana 2 has also been nominated for the Best Picture award at the Golden Globes.

Could The Rock’s Return Affect WrestleMania Plans?
In the past, The Rock has been seen at events close to WWE shows during the same week. Fans expect something similar to happen on Monday during the Tribal Combat match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.
John Cena is strongly rumored to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania, while Roman Reigns might take on CM Punk. However, according to Ibou from WrestlePurists, these plans could change if The Rock decides to return.
The Rock had a successful 2024 and ended the year with a big payout from TKO Stocks. In January of last year, he was announced as a member of the TKO Group Holdings Board of Directors.
As part of the deal, he received a large number of restricted TKO stock units, including 96,557 shares that vested in December 2024. The rest of the shares will vest monthly throughout 2025.
