Nicholas Pooran’s standout moment came in the 18th over, bowled by Andre Russell. The Lucknow Super Giants batter hit 24 runs off his Caribbean teammate, helping his team easily pass 200 runs.
Pooran started the over with a four, top-edging a short ball from Russell. After a dot ball, he followed up with another four, hitting a short ball again. On the next delivery, Pooran pulled a short ball on leg-stump to deep square leg for a boundary.

Then came an incredible six. Russell bowled another short ball on middle and leg, and Pooran pulled it over deep square leg for a 93-meter six. He followed this with a pull shot to deep mid-wicket for another four, putting pressure on Russell.
On the last ball of the over, Russell bowled a full delivery, and Pooran made the most of it. He cleared his front leg and smashed the ball over long-off for another four, completing his brilliant 24-run over.

Nicholas Pooran, the current Orange Cap holder in IPL 2025, finished with an unbeaten 87 runs off 36 balls. His strike rate was over 241, and he hit 7 fours and 8 sixes during his innings.
Alongside him, Aiden Markram scored 47, and Mitchell Marsh played a fantastic knock of 81 runs. Thanks to their brilliant batting performances, Lucknow Super Giants posted an impressive total of 238 runs on the scoreboard.
