Rishabh Pant Jokes About Rohit Sharma's Retirement Said Garden Mein Ghoom Rahe Hain

Rishabh Pant’s Funny Reply at Mumbai Airport: “Rohit Sharma is roaming in the garden”

The Indian cricket team has gone to England for a 5-match Test series. This series is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27. It will start on June 20 at Headingley stadium in Leeds and end on July 31 at Kia Oval in London.

The team flew from Mumbai on Thursday night (June 5). At the airport, fans asked for autographs and the players talked a bit with the media. Rishabh Pant, who is the team’s vice-captain, got a lot of attention and looked happy.

For those who don’t know, the word “garden” was used by Rohit Sharma last year during the home Test series against England. He told the team to stay focused on the field and not to roam around. He said:

“B******d… Koi bhi garden mai ghumega, maa **** dunga sabki.”

Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from Test cricket recently. He shared this on social media. A few days later, Virat Kohli also retired from Test cricket. This was a big loss for the team.

Now, for the first time in many years, India will play a Test series without Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Both were very important for the team for over ten years, and their absence will be felt.

Rishabh Pant has now become the senior player in the team. He will have a big responsibility, especially in England, where he has done well before.

Shubman Gill will captain India in this series. Both Gill and Pant will need to play their best if India wants to win.
