The buzz has started again in the wrestling world – and this time, Goldberg is in the spotlight. Reports are saying that “Da Man” is coming back to WWE. Now Goldberg himself has given his own hint on this rumor.

Preparations for Goldberg’s comeback are already underway

Former Universal Champion Goldberg has been preparing for his last match for the last few months. This match could be his retirement bout.

According to rumors, Goldberg’s opponent could be the current World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther. WWE had already shown a short angle between Goldberg and Gunther in the Bad Blood event last year. So now that Gunther has the championship belt back, the speculation has gotten even stronger.

Report: Goldberg can return to RAW

A trusted wrestling news site BodySlam.net ,has reported that Goldberg can return in the next episode of RAW. His target will be the World Heavyweight Title – which is currently with Gunther.

Goldberg recently posted a video montage on his X (Twitter) handle in which he wrote:

“WHO’S NEXT!!”

This is his iconic catchphrase which is being considered a big hint of his return.

Injuries gave a slight setback, but the match is still on

Goldberg gave an interview on the CarCast Podcast, where he said:

“I hurt myself a couple of times in the past three months, umm, but I’ve pulled back and it’s really tough to have the mentality I do but to have the body that I do now and with the mileage on it and then go into the Muay Thai gym and hit the pads and not go crazy and then blow a shoulder out and blow your biceps out and, you know, pull your hamstring from throwing a high kick. It’s just, there’s a huge balance and I’ve been in the ring a couple of times, I’ll be getting in the ring today, and it’s just tough, man. It is tough.”

But the good news is that these injuries were not serious. WrestleVotes has confirmed that Goldberg is ready for his final WWE match.

Will Gunther vs Goldberg be real?

This match is like a dream showdown for wrestling fans. Gunther – who people call The Ring General – is currently one of WWE’s top champions. And if Goldberg fights against him, this match could become a memorable moment in WWE history.

Now it will be interesting to see how WWE’s creative team builds this feud. Maybe there will be a face-off in the next RAW or some big announcement will come.
