West Indies vs Nepal: Cricket West Indies has announced the schedule for a historic T20 series against Nepal. The two teams will play three matches in September, and all the games will be held in Sharjah. This will be the first time West Indies and Nepal face each other in a T20 series, and it’s happening at a neutral location.
West Indies vs Nepal: West Indies To Face Nepal In Historic T20I Series Ahead Of Asia Qualifiers
West Indies are in Ireland for a T20 series, but rain stopped the first match. Nepal ise in Scotland playing a tri-series with the Netherlands. West Indies are ranked 5th in T20Is, and Nepal are 18th.
CWI called the series against Nepal a “historic” moment and said it’s about more than just cricket – it’s also about supporting the game’s global growth.
“This series is more than just a set of international matches – it’s a celebration of the game’s expanding global footprint and a testament to what cricket represents: pride, purpose, and the power of unity. As a full-member nation, we see it as part of our responsibility to contribute to the development of cricket beyond our borders,” CWI chief executive Chris Dehring said in the statement.

Cricket West Indies said they support Nepal as their cricket team grows. They’re also looking forward to an exciting and competitive series in Sharjah.
“Supporting Nepal in this key phase of their cricketing journey not only builds the sport at the grassroots and international levels but also reminds us of the deep pride and honour associated with representing our nation and wearing our national colours. We are proud to stand with Nepal at this moment in their history and look forward to exciting and competitive cricket in Sharjah.”
West Indies and Nepal will play a three-match T20I series in Sharjah on September 27, 28, and 30. Nepal is the official host.
The series comes ahead of Nepal’s T20 World Cup Qualifier. West Indies may rest key players like Shai Hope and Alzarri Joseph due to a Test series vs India starting October 2.
