In a series of events where Zimbabwe cricket player, Ryan Burl appealed via Twitter for sponsorship mentioning his glued shoes, Puma Cricket accepted his appeal and generously asked Burl to do away with glued shoes. Indian Spinner Harbhajan Singh Tweeted this sweet gesture appreciating Puma’s helping hand.

Harbhajan Singh wrote-
“Always there for the players @pumacricket, well done”

Ryan Burl took to Twitter for highlighting sponsorship issues on May 22. He Tweeted pictures of his shoes which were glued due lack of monetary funds. Burl wrote, “Any chance we can get a sponsor so we don’t have to glue our shoes back after every series @newbalance, @NewBalance_SA, @NBCricket, @ICAssociation”

With the Tweet going viral and fans pouring in for support, Puma Cricket took notice of it and Tweeted back Burl saying, “Time to put the glue away, I got you covered @ryanburl3.”

In another Tweet, Burl was seen excited for getting sponsorship from a major sportswear brand and thanked them for their generous gesture.

To which Puma Cricket responded with, “Stronger together @ryanburl3″
