WWE has always been known for its grand storytelling and larger-than-life stars. But sometimes, the company quietly pushes certain names out of the spotlight, almost as if they never existed. Recent changes in the Triple H-led creative team have brought back many familiar faces, like AJ Lee, but there are also big names WWE has chosen not to acknowledge.
Here are three stars WWE seemingly tried to erase from its history.
3. Mandy Rose

Mandy Rose rose to fame during her WWE career, especially as the NXT Women’s Champion. Her time leading Toxic Attraction made her one of the most popular names in the brand. However, after her sudden release in 2022, WWE stopped mentioning her altogether.
When the company held the special NXT Homecoming event to honor past stars, Mandy’s name was completely missing. Despite being one of the most successful women in NXT history, she wasn’t invited. Mandy herself reacted online, hinting at her disappointment.
This silence from WWE clearly shows that the company wants to keep her away from its current narrative after her controversial exit.
2. Baron Corbin
Another surprising name is Baron Corbin, also known as Bishop Dyer after his WWE departure. Corbin had a strong run in NXT as the “Lone Wolf” and even went on to win the United States Championship on the main roster.
But during the NXT Homecoming celebration, his contributions were ignored. Corbin later admitted in an interview that he was “hurt” by not being recognized, especially since he was part of the first major NXT live shows and helped build the brand’s early reputation.
His absence from WWE’s highlight reels felt like a clear attempt to minimize his legacy in the company.
1. Ronda Rousey

Perhaps the biggest name on this list is Ronda Rousey. The former UFC fighter brought mainstream attention to WWE and helped elevate the women’s division. Her matches at WrestleMania and her involvement in the historic Evolution 2018 event cemented her as a major star.
Despite this, when WWE planned the second edition of Evolution, Ronda revealed that she wasn’t contacted at all. For a star who once carried the women’s division, this was a surprising snub. It strongly signaled that WWE was ready to move forward without her as part of its legacy shows.
