IPL 2021: Punjab Kings Caribbean players arrives in UAE ahead of 2nd Leg

The players who competed in the 2021 Caribbean Premier League (CPL), are arriving in the United Arab Emirates to play in the 2nd Phase of IPL 2021 as it resumes from 19th September. With Kieron Pollard arriving in Abu Dhabi to play for Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings players also have landed in UAE.

The recently concluded 2021 Caribbean Premier League (CPL) saw St Kitts & Nevis Patriots win their maiden CPL title. Chris Gayle and Fabian Allen were part of the winning team. Whereas, Nicholas Pooran guided his team Guyana Amazon Warriors to the Semi-finals.

However, Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Fabian Allen of Punjab Kings will have to go through a mandatory two-day quarantine period before they can join the team.

Punjab Kings took to their official social media account to announce the arrival of Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, and Fabian Allen.

Meanwhile, Punjab Kings are in 6th Position with six points. They have managed to win only three matches and have lost five matches out of the eight they have played so far in the 1st Leg of 2021 Indian Premier League (IPL).

KL Rahul lead Punjab Kings will resume the 2nd Phase of IPL 2021 with a match against Sanju Samson’s Rajasthan Royals on 21st September 2021, Tuesday at the Dubai International Stadium. Indian fans can watch the match at 7:30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST).
