According to the Board of Control for Cricket, Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the three-match One-Day International series against Zimbabwe due to injury.

The All-India Senior Selection Committee has chosen Shahbaz Ahmed to replace Washington Sundar in the series against Zimbabwe. Sundar was injured while playing for his county in England. The first One-Day International (ODI) between India and Zimbabwe will be contested at the Harare Sports Club on August 18. The team will be led by KL Rahul.

According to the Board of Control for Cricket, Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the three-match One-Day International series against Zimbabwe due to injury.

The All-India Senior Selection Committee has chosen Shahbaz Ahmed to replace Washington Sundar in the series against Zimbabwe. Sundar was injured while playing for his county in England. The first One-Day International (ODI) between India and Zimbabwe will be contested at the Harare Sports Club on August 18. The team will be led by KL Rahul.

In 14 games, he hit three home runs and scored 413 runs on a 37.55 average. He was his team’s second-leading scorer. The coaching staff for India’s three-match One-Day International series against Zimbabwe has been revealed.

During the Zimbabwe tour, VVS Laxman, an India superstar and current director of the National Cricket Academy (NCA), would act as head coach. Rahul Dravid has rested ahead of the Asia Cup, which starts on August 27.
