Only Khaled Mashud and Mushfiqur Rahim have had successful careers as wicketkeepers in Bangladesh. Many Bangladeshi cricketers have attempted wicket-keeping but failed to succeed for a very long. We’ll list Bangladesh’s top wicketkeepers today.

Mushfiqur Rahim

The only international cricketer from Bangladesh to have won 150 games is right-handed wicketkeeper, Mushfiqur Rahim. He previously served as vice-captain and captain of his country’s squad. In the annals of test cricket, Rahim holds the record for the most double hundreds by a hitter. He stands at the top of the list with 422 dismissals as the most productive wicketkeeper for Bangladesh.

Khaled Mashud

Former middle-order right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper Khaled Mashud. From 1995 to 2007, he served as the test and one-day international captain of the Bangladesh National Cricket Team. He amassed more than 3000 runs while batting, including one century and 10 half-centuries. As a wicketkeeper, he has 213 dismissals, which places him second on the list.

Liton Das

In all three forms of cricket, Bangladesh is represented by right-handed wicket-keeper batsman Liton Das. He holds the greatest individual ODI score by a cricketer from Bangladesh (176). In June and July 2015, Das made his debut in all three formats. With 72 dismissals as a wicketkeeper, he ranks third.

Nurul Hasan

Right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman Nurul Hasan played his first T20I match against Zimbabwe in 2016. He was a member of the Bangladeshi team competing in the 2021 ICC Men’s World T20. Nurul has only been active internationally for 50 years. He moves up to fourth place on the record with 36 dismissals made as a wicketkeeper.

Dhiman Ghosh

First-class right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman Dhiman Ghosh represented Bangladesh in 14 One-Day Internationals and one Twenty20 International in 2008. He participated in the matches against Australia, South Africa, Pakistan, Ireland, and Pakistan. Mushfiqur Rahim returned, and he was not chosen for the national team. He is ranked fifth for his 14 dismissals while serving as a wicketkeeper.

Anamul Haque

Right-handed opening batter and wicketkeeper Anamul Haque also keeps score. In November 2012, he competed in his debut ODI against the West Indies. Haque amassed more than 1000 runs in ODIs, including three centuries and three half-centuries. He has been dismissed seven times in his career as a wicketkeeper. He now occupies the sixth spot on the list as a result.
