The Hobart Hurricanes are mostly known as an Australian professional Men’s T20 franchise cricket team based in Tasmania, Australia. The team generally represents Hobart, and play most of their home matches at Blundstone Arena, along with a few home matches at the University of Tasmania Stadium, Launceston. The team is currently led by the captain, Matthew Wade with Adam Griffith, being the coach of Hobart Hurricanes.

Perhaps, the team has failed to register a single BBL title to their names till date. However, they will be competing against Melbourne Stars in their opening match on 16 December 2022.
