Rajasthan Royals were narrowly edged in a close encounter against Punjab Kings in the 4th match of the VIVO IPL 2021. Sanju Samson’s Century went into vain as the Rajasthan side lost the game in the last bowl. A loss to start off the new campaign, and now another huge blow for RR has been alleged surrounding Ben Stokes.

According to Harsha Bhogle, English All-rounder, Ben Stokes has been reportedly ruled out of the IPL with a suspected broken hand injury.

Harsha Bhogle on Twitter broke this news in which he cited the reason for injury when he caught a catch to dismiss Chris Gayle in yesterday’s fiercely contested encounter.

If these reports are true, then this is a huge blow for the title aspirations of Rajasthan Royals this season. Although he didn’t have the best of his outings in their first match, there’s no denial about the ability of this all-rounder. He has played 43 matches in IPL and has scored 920 runs with a strike rate of about 135. He has taken 28 wickets as well.
