The latest coach to get sacked is the now-former Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Bayern Munich, on March 25, released their coach Julian Nagelsmann and replaced him with the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League winning manager Thomas Tuchel. The former Chelsea coach even reached the UCL final with Paris Saint-Germain in the season 2019-20.
Future of Julian Nagelsmann
The 35-year-old manager will now be in the market searching for a new club. The timing of his sacking could be a blessing in disguise for him. Tottenham Hotspurs are also in search of a new coach following their current manager’s Antonio Conte rant about the club and the players.
Spurs will be keen to replace Conte as soon as possible so that it does not affect their Champions League qualification spots. With Nagelsmann Spurs will surely make a move for the German coach.
It is not just Nagelsmann who faced the axe but it is his entire team of coaches that will be leaving the Bundesliga giant. Along with Nagelsmann assistant coaches Dino Toppmoller, Benjamin Gluck and Xaver Zembrod are all set to leave Bayern. Bayern Munich, CEO and former legendary goalkeeper Oliver Kahn said, “Personally and on behalf of FC Bayern, I would like to thank Julian and his coaching team, and wish everyone the best of luck for the future.”
FC Bayern and head coach Julian Nagelsmann have parted company. This decision was taken by CEO Oliver Kahn and board member for sport Hasan Salihamidžić in consultation with club president Herbert Hainer. Nagelsmann will be succeeded by Thomas Tuchel.
