However, Bangladesh’s first win against each opponent at home or away was achieved in different years and venues. Against Afghanistan:
Bangladesh’s first ODI match win against Afghanistan at home took place on September 28, 2016, at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. Bangladesh won the match by 141 runs after scoring 279/8 and then restricting Afghanistan to 138/10. Bangladesh’s first win against Afghanistan away from home came on April 4, 2015, at the Manuka Oval in Canberra.
