Chris Gayle has appeared in three different BPL teams. Before joining the Dhaka Gladiators, he was a member of the Barisal Burners. He is a member of the Rangpur Riders team, captained by Mashrafe Mortaza. Gayle also set a record by becoming the first batsman in Twenty20 history with 800 sixes. Chris Gayle, in 2017, scored the most runs of any player in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) history. Rangpur Riders eliminated Khulna Titans from the 2017 Bangladesh Premier League with 126 runs from pinch-hitter Chris Gayle on just 51 balls at Shere Bangla National Stadium. Sabbir Rahman – 2016 (122 runs)
