Barcelona squad this season, Credits- Everything Barca
Barcelona is the only team remaining in the top flight of European football to remain undefeated in 2025. Despite entering the new year with a complacent November-December period where they had 6 games without any win, they have hit the ground running since then.
Barcelona proved critics wrong as everybody thought it was just the honeymoon period for Hansi Flick but the German has stomped every doubter with a winning streak that has lasted for more than 3 months and it feels that they are not going to stop anytime soon.
Barcelona have netted 133 goals in this season and 60 goals in 2025. Safe to say they are the most dangerous attacking team in the world right now. No team in Europe comes close to the amount of goals that they have bagged this season. This attacking prowess has all come down to Hansi Flick’s brilliant training and tactics.
1) Robert Lewandowski- The Polish striker has turned the years back and is back to his best goal scoring form. The striker has found the net on 35 occasions in this season and is still going strong.
The start of the season was phenomenal as his stats were through the roof in the first 10 matches but since has slowed down according to his own standards. Still leading the Pichichi award with 22 goals, he is having his best season in a Barcelona jersey.
2) Raphinha- The Brazilian “Joga Bonito“ has killed it this season with his directness and focused approach in front of the goal.
He has scored 27 goals across all competitions and is the leading goal scorer in the Champions league as well. This has been his breakout season with the Catalans and he is being considered the favorite to win the Ballon D’or this year.
3) Lamine Yamal- The 17 year old Spanish prodigy is a joy to watch. His skills, his confidence and the decision making he possesses at such a young age is unheard of in the footballing world.
Yamal has been more of a creative entity for Barcelona but still has netted 13 goals.
4) Ferran Torres- The name that will surprise the most is Ferran Torres who has had only limited minutes on the field but has managed to bag 13 goals through the bench. The incredible versatility and intense work rate he possesses is a lethal weapon for Barcelona and Hansi Flick.
Many regard him as being wasteful in front of the goal but he has proven every critic wrong as he has scored many match-winners when Barcelona have needed him.
