BGMI might soon re-launch in India
BGMI reportedly received a green signal from the Indian Government with some suggested changes.
Relief for the E-sports and the gaming community as the popular Battle Royale game BattleGrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is set to re-launch in with some changes suggested to the developers of the game.
BGMI was launched in India in 2021. The Indian version of the popular game Players Unknown Battle Ground (PUBG) quickly became very popular and was hailed as one of the best games in the country.
The happiness for Krafton was short lived as the game got banned in India in July 2022. BGMI is set to return once again to the Indian gaming market with some changes. There is still no clarity over the unban of the game. In July 2022 when the ban happened there were intelligence reports saying that it was communicating with servers located in China.
Changes to be made for BGMI unban
While it is good news for the gamers, the game is supposed to re-launch with some huge changes. The gamers will not be able to play the 24*7 as a time limit for the game will be introduced. BGMI reportedly will not have blood in the game. The previous version came with an option to change the colour of blood from red to green or blue but the new version will be having this as the default option. The government has also asked the company to make changes that can help in reducing addiction as there were reports of murders and suicides due to players’ addiction with the game.
