Billie Jean King Cup 2024 Finals: Complete Squad Of All Participating Nations

The Billie Jean King Cup 2024 Finals has suffered a bummer right at the outset as the opening tie between Spain and Poland has been postponeddue to severe weather conditions. The first game now takes place a day later on November 14 between Romania and Japan.

The encounter between Spain and Poland will now be staged on November 15. For rest of the matches, no further changes have been made in the schedule yet.

12 teams are competing for the trophy even as several top ranked players will be in action for the ties in singles and doubles at Billie Jean King Cup 2024.

Defending champions Canada will aim for their second title. Previous season’s runner up Italy will play for their fifth title and first since 2013. USA will give it their all for a record extending 19th title and the first in seven years. Team Australia are eyeing for their first title in five decades, reaching the finals twice in the last five years. Great Britain, Japan, Poland and Romania are yet to win a title.

The four seeds-Canada, Italy, Australia and Czechia- have received direct quarter-final berths in the event while the other eight teams will need a win to enter the quarter-finals.

Canada and Czechia are the only teams who have fielded four players while the rest have five players in the attack.

The matches will be held in indoor hardcourts of the Martin Carpena Arena in Malaga, Spain.
