Chandrakant Pandit has been selected as KKR’s new head coach.

The IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) named Chandrakant Pandit as their new head coach on Thursday. Pandit, who has coached many local teams to success, recently led Madhya Pradesh to their first Ranji Trophy triumph. He takes over for Brendon McCullum.

“It’s a wonderful honour and privilege to be given this job,” Pandit remarked, accepting the new assignment. I’ve heard about the Knight Riders’ family culture and the success tradition from players and others who have been affiliated with the team.”

“I am delighted about the calibre of the support staff and players on the team, and I am looking forward to this opportunity with humility and optimism.”
