Chelsea in advanced talks to sign Man City target Marc Cucurella

Chelsea FC have agreed a personal terms with Marc Cucurella as reported by Fabrizio Romano.

Premier League side Chelsea FC have agreed personal terms with Brighton left-back Marc Cucurella as reported by Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday, 2nd August via his official Twitter handle. Manchester City were fully in control of the deal with Brighton FC for the left-back (Marc Cucurella).

Chelsea FC are now hijacking the deal from Man City and are confident to complete the transfer in coming days. Marc Cucurella have agreed to join Chelsea, so it means there is no problem from the player’s side but the only thing Tuchel’s blues needs to do is agree a fee with Brighton FC for the player. According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal between Brighton and Manchester City for the left-sided defender is not still collapsed. Both the top clubs i.e. Chelsea and Manchester City are in the race to sign Marc Cucurella.

“Full agreement now reached between Chelsea and Cucurella on personal terms. Potential contract has been proposal approved, Marc’s prepared to accept once clubs agree on fee. Chelsea and Brighton in direct talks again today in order to complete the deal,” tweeted Fabrizio Romano on Tuesday.

Marc Cucurella will be playing in a Champions League this season wherever he goes this summer.
