Dale Steyn set to reunite with Sunrisers Hyderabad as their Bowling Coach

Former South Africa speedster Dale Steyn is equipped to reunite with his previous Indian Premier League franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a new role. As per a report in Cricbuzz, the 38-year-old has been approached by SRH to be their bowling coach. The report mentioned that if everything falls in place, an official announcement will be created next week.

Apart from the international exploits, Steyn conjointly has the expertise of collaborating in ninety-five IPL matches. He had proclaimed retirement from all varieties of cricket earlier this year in August.

The report mentioned that the previous Proteas quick would work with Tom Moody, who will be elevated because the team’s head coach is within the future edition. Former Indian cricketer Hemang Badani will probably hitch the coaching employees of the Hyderabad franchise.

Steyn has contended a complete of ninety-three Tests (439 wickets), one hundred twenty-five ODIs (196 wickets), and forty-seven T20Is (64 wickets). He has drawn Deccan Chargers, Gujarat Lions, and Royal Challengers Bangalore within the remunerative T20 league, during which he scalped ninety-seven wickets.

Sunrisers head coach Trevor Bayliss and batting coach Brad Haddin completed their association with the franchise when the conclusion of the 2021 season because the franchise finished bottom of the eight-team points table, securing simply three wins in fourteen matches.

SRH also had to part ways with India legend VVS Laxman when the BCCI appointed him because of the new National Cricket Academy (NCA) director in Bangalore.
