Eng v Ind, 6th Test: Skipper Rohit Sharma train ahead of the practice game

Skipper Rohit Sharma was seen in the nets on Wednesday ahead of the practice game in England.

Indian cricket team has arrived in England for the much-awaited game. India and England will face each other in the 6th Test match in Edgbaston. The Indian team has also started training in England. Skipper Rohit Sharma who went in there (England) directly after his holidays was seen in training on Wednesday.

The Indian team will face England on 1st July for the final Test but before that, there will be some practice games India will be playing. England is currently playing against New Zealand in the 3-match Test series. The third and final Test between England and New Zealand will begin on 23rd June. However, this Test match won’t be of much importance for England as the host has already won this series and is leading by 2-0.

The last time when India played England, Virat Kohli was the skipper. This time India will be under Rohit Sharma’s captaincy. India is leading this series by 2-1 and a draw would be enough in the last game to create history. Rohit Sharma was in the nets after a long break. Rohit Sharma hasn’t had a great season of IPL as Mumbai Indians was last on the table.
