Inter Milan takes on a resurgent Juventus in a mouth watering clash

Juventus has not lost a game in the season since its loss against Empoli back in August. Since then Allegri’s side has defeated the likes of Chelsea in the Champions League.

Inter Milan takes on Juventus at home in an important match in Serie A. Juventus has had a resurgence of late under Allegri, with the side from Turin remaining undefeated since their loss to Empoli. They have beaten the likes of Chelsea in the Champions League.

Inter Milan

Inter does not have any major injury problems to their players. Hakan Calhanoglu returned to training on Thursday and could make it to the squad for the game. Stefano Sensi also returned to training following his injury problems in his knee.

Juventus

Meanwhile, Matthijs De Ligt has returned from injury for Juventus and will make it to the squad. Also, Max Allegri will be boosted by the return of Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata from injuries. Juventus lacked forward options in recent times due to their star attackers being left injured.

Predicted Line-ups

Simone Inzaghi is expected to stick with his trusted system of 3-5-2 with Matteo Darmian and Ivan Perisic starting as wing-backs. Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez are expected to start up front. Midfield composition could change with the return of players from injury.

Juventus 

Max Allegri will now have the luxury of fielding Morata, Dybala after their return from their respective injuries. However, they are expected to start from the bench. Similarly, Bonucci and Chiellini are expected to start at the heart of the defense despite, De Ligt returning from injury.
