After a poor campaign in IPL 2020, the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lost their opening match in the 2021 edition of the league. After setting the chase of 188, they couldn’t survive the attacks of the Delhi Capitals, especially Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan, as they were unstoppable with their batting techniques.

Their next game is against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Friday, April 16 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Punjab Kings, on the other side, started their campaign with a four run victory over the Rajasthan Royals (RR).

However, against the CSK, the Punjab side doesn’t have great records by any means. But if we look back, the Punjab Kings have defeated the MS Dhoni’s CSK one back in the year 2014.
