The winner of the Maiden IPL final Sunrisers Hyderabad fought against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both of the teams were able to score more than 200 runs each. Sunrisers Hyderabad did bat with the best players Yuvraj Singh, Warner, and Ben Cutting. After this match, the Sunrisers Hyderabad became the owner of the highest score on the scoreboard. The game was not tough, and anyone could have scored this total, but Virat and Gayle made it different by adding 114 runs to 10.3 overs. It was easier for the Royal Challengers Bangalore to win this game, but things didn’t work out and they lost the match by 8 runs.
