Mahela Jayawardene feels it is really unfortunate that he is going through a rough patch. But like other experts and ex-cricketers, Mahela Jayawardene is also confident that Virat Kohli will be back in form soon. Mahela Jayawardene is also the Mumbai Indians team coach and mentor. Mahela Jayawardene feels Kohli has all the qualities of a cricketer and it is natural to have such phase in one’s cricketing life.

Mahela has also said that Kohli has what it takes to make a roaring comeback and will do it soon.

“It is unfortunate what Virat is going through right now at the moment, but he is a quality player.I believe Virat has the tools to come out of it (the form slump). He has done that in the past as well and I’m sure he’ll come through this,” said Mahela Jayawardene on the The ICC Review latest episode.
