Manchester United are looking to sign a new forward player as they look to bolster their attack in this new season which has already started this Saturday, 6th August. Manchester United have started the season in a worst possible way as they lost to Brighton FC on Sunday, 7th August. Manchester United lost 2-1 to Brighton on their opening fixture.
Erik ten Hag has always said that he needs some right players to go in a right direction this season. United are still trying to find any solution to bring Frenkie de Jong to the club as he is the priority target of Erik ten Hag this summer. United were also looking for a striker and considered Marko Arnautovic a few days ago. Marko Arnautovic has played under Erik ten Hag in FC Twente and thus he knows the manager well also he was keen to move to Man United. But United have now pulled out from this deal as their fans weren’t happy and so many of them emailed Richard Arnold to not to buy him (Marko Arnautovic).
Thus, after Arnautovic’s deal collapsed, United are looking to sign Cody Gakpo who is a winger plays at PSV Eindhoven.
