Gautam Gambhir, a former cricketer for India and the coach of the Lucknow Super Giants, has gained attention after an altercation with Virat Kohli on the pitch. Cricket fans were confused by Gambhir’s cryptic tweet from Wednesday.

The BJP Member of Parliament posted the cryptic message on his official Twitter account.

It was unclear what Gautam Gambhir was trying to say in his tweet, and it was also difficult to tell who the message was intended for. There are rumours that he may have had Rajat Sharma, a well-known journalist, in mind.

Recent comments by Sharma on the fight between Gambhir and Kohli on the pitch implied that the former cricketer had grown haughty since entering politics.

Despite the fact that no specific names were mentioned in the tweet, many saw Gambhir’s remarks as a rejoinder to Sharma’s assertions.

“We got to see Gambhir’s resentment of Virat Kohli’s fame. The journalist reportedly said, “What Gambhir did was against cricket, and it does not suit an ex-player or a member of parliament.”

Gambhir has not shied away from the cricketing world despite being a member of parliament and is still very active in the game. He frequently makes headlines for his blunt comments and altercations on the pitch, which has caused public opinion about him to become divisive.

What did Gambhir call Rajat Sharma a ‘Bhagoda‘?

It is important to note that Sharma resigned from his position as DDCA president, citing his inability to hold onto the position in the face of “various pulls and pressures” from the company.

The now-66-year-old submitted his resignation from the position in November 2019 and stated that he had “faced many road blocks, opposition, and oppression” in his efforts to carry out the duties in a fair and transparent manner.

Gambhir might have referred to Sharma as “Bhagoda”—a fugitive—considering that his resignation may have been the result of his inability to handle the demands of his position.
