Mohammad Azharuddin shares the picture of his most memorable bat

The former Indian cricketer shared a very fond memory associated with the bat and explained why it was so special for him.

Former Indian cricketer and skipper Mohammad Azharuddin shared a picture with his old bat which means a lot to him and is very special. It was Azhar’s most valuable bat as it was the one with which he scored 3 consecutive hundreds in three matches against England in the 1984-85 season.

The former Indian cricketer took to Twitter shared a very fond memory associated with the bat and explained why it was so special for him. He also mentioned that he also scored more than 800 runs in that season and the bat was chosen by his grandfather at that time which made it even more special. The post also had a photo of Azhar’s jersey where he was also wearing it.

“With this bat, I made a world record of three consecutive hundreds in my first three tests against England in 84-85. In a season I scored more than 800 runs with this very bat, chosen by my grandfather. #FondMemories” Azhar mentioned in his tweet.
