Mohammad Shami gets himself vaccinated with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine
Th Indian pacer will be playing the England tour for India in the World Test Championship final and Test series in England.

Mohammad Shami, an Indian pacer got himself vaccinated with the first dose of COVID-19 on Thursday. He is currently under quarantine along with team India which is headed towards the UK tour.

Shami also joined the list of cricketers who got themselves vaccinated recently including Rishabh Pant, Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane.
According to a BCCI official, The players are taking Covishield as it’s a version of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine which is available in England. “Covishield is a version of Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine available in England. This will help BCCI to administer the second dose to the players in England,”
