Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo post a message after his former teammate, left-back Marcelo left Real Madrid on Monday, 13th of June. Cristiano played with Marcelo in the Spanish club Real Madrid. Marcelo joined Real Madrid in 2006 and stayed in the club for 16 years.
Cristiano Ronaldo in his message to Marcelo said the Brazilian left-back is one of the greatest he has played with in his career. Marcelo and the 37-year-old Portuguese striker have won so many trophies together. They also have four Champions League trophies together.
“More than a teammate, a brother that football gave me. On and off the fields, one of the biggest stars with whom I had the pleasure of sharing a locker room. Go with everything on this new adventure, Marcelo!,” tweets Cristiano Ronaldo on Monday night on his former teammate Marcelo.
Brazilian left-back also loves playing with Ronaldo when Cristiano scored his 800th International goal, he posted a photo to congratulate him. More than a teammate, they are good friends of each other. 2018 was the last year Cristiano and Marcelo played together after that Portuguese forward left for the Serie A club Juventus.
