Formula 1 and football are set to come together this weekend as Racing Bulls have unveiled a special FIFA World Cup-inspired livery for the 2026 Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.

With the FIFA World Cup starting on June 11, the Racing Bulls team has chosen to celebrate the football tournament with a visual transformation by rebranding itself as “Racing Bulls FC” for this particular race weekend.

While football fans around the world turn their attention to the opening matches of the World Cup, Formula 1 heads to Barcelona for the seventh round of the 2026 F1 season, creating a unique crossover between two of the world’s biggest sporting events.

Racing Bulls Embrace Football Fever

The special edition livery has some cool football things on it that make it look different from what the team usually wears.

The team’s rear wing has a crest on it that looks like a club symbol, and it says “Racing Bulls FC”.

There are also some patterns and bold colours on the car, which show the crossover between F1 and football; they also make the cars look pretty neat.

The thing that really stands out is the wheels. The wheels have been changed to look like a football with the black and white pattern that everyone knows.

People are already talking about this on the media, and it is probably going to be one of the most popular liveries this season.

New Look For Liam Lawson And Arvid Lindblad

The football-themed makeover is not only for the car but also for the racing drivers. Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad will also get specially designed team apparel throughout the Barcelona weekend. The redesigned race-weekend kit draws inspiration from traditional football jerseys, giving the entire team a fresh identity that aligns with the World Cup celebrations.

The merchandise is expected to be a popular hit among fans who follow both Formula 1 and football.

F1 Championship Heading Into Barcelona

The special livery arrives at a time when Racing Bulls are enjoying one of their strongest periods of the season.

Both Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad enter the Barcelona weekend with their best Formula 1 results after impressive performances at the Monaco Grand Prix.

Liam Lawson secured fifth place, while Arvid Lindblad was sixth, marking the best finishes of their respective F1 careers so far.

The pair will now look to carry that momentum into Barcelona as they race in one of the most eye-catching liveries on the grid.

Away from the World Cup celebrations, the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix remains a crucial event in the 2026  F1 championship battle.

The former home of the Spanish Grand Prix continues to be one of the sport’s most demanding circuits, testing both driver skill and car performance.

Meanwhile, the championship leader Kimi Antonelli arrives in Barcelona chasing an extraordinary sixth consecutive Grand Prix victory as he looks to tighten his grip on the title race.

But for at least one weekend, Racing Bulls have ensured that football shares the spotlight with F1, delivering one of the most creative and memorable liveries of the 2026 season.
