Ravichandran Ashwin produced his highest score in test cricket at the Eden Gardens during the first test match of a home series against West Indies in 2013. Batting first, West Indies were all-out for 234 runs. In reply, Rohit Sharma scored 177, backed up by Ashwin who scored 124 runs, including 11 boundaries, and helped the team reach 453. In West Indies’ second innings, Mohammed Shami took a five-wicket haul, helping India win the game by an innings and 51 runs.

118 vs West Indies, Gros Islet, 2016
During the third West Indies vs India test match in Gros Islet in August 2016, Ashwin recorded his fourth test hundred. Batting first, India were struggling at 126/5 before Ashwin stitched a crucial double-hundred partnership with Wriddhiman Saha (118).
The all-rounder played a stunning knock of 118 runs, helping India reach 353. West Indies, in reply, scored 225 runs in the first innings. In India’s second innings, they declared at 217-7 and set a target of 345 runs. While chasing, West Indies were bundled out for just 108 runs. India won the match by 237 runs and Ashwin was named Player of the Match.

113 vs Bangladesh, Chennai, 2024
Ashwin produced his second test century in Chennai against Bangladesh in September 2024. The right-hander alongside Ravindra Jadeja, played a crucial innings after India were in trouble at 144/6.
In front of his home crowd. The cricketer played a blistering knock of 113 runs off 133 balls,including 11 fours and two sixes. His innings helped India put up a competitive total of 376 as he smashed his career’s sixth test hundred.

Ashwin raked up his third test century during the first test match against West Indies in North Sound in July 2016. Batting first, India declared at 566/8. The off-spinner played a splendid knock of 113 runs off 253, including 12 boundaries.
West Indies lost the match by an innings and 92 runs. Ashwin was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance as took a seven-wicket haul after hitting a century.

106 vs England, Chennai, 2021
Ashwin’s first test century came in his home city Chennai, in the second test match of the series in 2021 against England. India scored 329 in the first innings with Rohit Sharma scoring 161 runs. In reply, England were bundled out for 134 runs.
In India’s second innings, Ashwin played an impressive knock of 106 runs off 148, including 14 fours and one six, helping his side set a huge target of 482 for the visitors. England were bundled out for 164 in their chase, with Ashwin picking up three wickets. India won the match by a huge margin of 317 runs and Ashwin was named the Player of the Match.
