Hettimulla Appuhamilage Shashikala Siriwardene, whose real name is Shashikala Dedunu Siriwardene, and born on February 14, 1985, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is a former cricketer who captained the Sri Lankan women’s cricket team in WODIs. Sri Lankan cricketer Shashikala Siriwardene is best known for being an all-rounder. She has played the game in four different ways and has played for Sri Lanka in many international tournaments.

Siriwardene started playing cricket when she was 12 years old in her home city of Galle. She then played for the Sri Lankan national team in the 2009 Women’s World Cup. She has also played for the Sri Lankan women’s team in the World Twenty20 and the Asia Cup. Since her debut in 2009, Siriwardene has been a vital part of the Sri Lankan team.
