Xavier Bartlett demonstrated an extraordinary display of fielding against Jos Buttler, catching him out and sending him back to the pavilion when Yuzvendra Chahal bowled the ball and he caught it with an incredible leap.
Jos Buttler could not muster a decent performance in the 2026 T20 World Cup and continued his ongoing struggle through his first match with the Gujarat Titans.
Buttler batted number three with the Titans against the Punjab Kings, where he could only manage to score 38 runs on 33 total deliveries during the game at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium.

Jos Buttler was dismissed from the Punjab Kings by Yuzvendra Chahal. Buttler tried to hit a six off the last ball of Chahal’s over (16th) and stepped outside of his crease in order to loft the ball over long-on. Although the shot was solidly struck, the tall (6’2″) Xavier Bartlett caught Buttler’s ball out of the air.
