The final round saw Wei Yi defeating Vidit Santosh Gujrathi while defending champion Anish Giri overcame compatriot Max Warmerdam. Other results included Nodirbek Abdusattorov from Uzbekistan defeating Alexander Donchenko of Germany, and Gukesh Dommaraju taming Iranian player Parham Maghsoodloo.
