Virat Kohli, unquestionably one of the best batters the world has ever seen, has had quite the cricketing career. When he first joined the Indian team, he was a chubby cricketer who revolutionised the way the sport is played in the nation by going gluten-free. While Kohli has experienced many career-defining moments, he claims that meeting Bollywood actress Anushka sharma, who would later become his wife, was the “life-changing” moment.
Kohli reflected on some pivotal moments in his life in the most recent RCB Podcast episode. Kohli recalled how his life changed after his father passed away and claimed that while his perspective on life changed, his life did not.
“My perspective on life changed somewhat after my father’s death, but my life didn’t really change at all. Everything continued as it had before. I gained a lot of resiliency from the incident, as well as clarity and motivation to pursue my goals in life, but it didn’t fundamentally alter my course in life. The environment was very similar, I was still playing cricket, and I was still doing what needed to be done “he declared.

Speaking of the “life-changing” experience, Kohli claimed that after meeting Anushka, his perspective on life completely changed.
“When I first met Anushka, I would say that my perspective on life was drastically altered. It wasn’t comparable to my surroundings; instead, it was from a different perspective and point of view, and that is what has changed my life. Because you have to move together when you fall in love, you begin processing those changes within yourself as well. Therefore, in order to do that, you must be open to new experiences and accept a wide range of viewpoints “The former India and RCB captain gave an explanation.
