India and Pakistan have been assigned to compete against USA, Netherlands and Namibia. Each team will attempt to earn an early victory in order to gain entry into the Super Eight stage of the tournament.
When Is IND vs PAK T20 World Cup 2026 Match? India’s Group-Stage Fixtures
India will start their campaign on the opening day of the tournament. Their fixtures are as follows:
February 7 – India vs USA in Mumbai
February 12 – India vs Namibia in Delhi
February 15 – IND vs PAK in Colombo
February 18 – India vs Netherlands in Ahmedabad
The group stage will feature three matches per day, ensuring a packed schedule for fans.
Format of the Tournament
The 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup, which India and Sri Lanka are cohosting, runs from February 7 to March 8. The structure is the same as the 2024 edition:
20 teams, divided into five groups of four
Top two from each group move to the Super Eight phase.
Super Eight teams divided into two groups of four
Top two from each group reach the semi-finals.
Winners advance to the final.
Pakistan will play all their matches in either Colombo or Kandy.
