Who has the record for staying the longest in the Royal Rumble?

In this article, we will take a look at the top five wrestlers who have made the highest number of appearances in the Royal Rumble,

The Royal Rumble battle has become one of the most thrilling gimmick bouts on the WWE schedule since January 1988. The Royal Rumble match has been a success because of the unpredictable nature, surprise returns, and presence of several wrestlers at once. Of course, not all of the Royal Rumble matches have lived up to the expectations, but the bulk have been heartstoppers.

In a single Royal Rumble bout, Brock Lesnar holds the record with 13 eliminations. In total Royal Rumble battles, though, there have been a few legendary names that have endured the longest. Many people are not surprised to see the top competitors in the Royal Rumble matches because the greatest stars are expected to compete until the very end.

Kane

Kane had a distinguished WWE career. The Big Red Monster has made the most appearances in history despite not having won a Royal Rumble. In his time with WWE, Kane has taken part in 20 matches. That indicates that he has participated in nearly two-thirds of all rumbles. In 2001, he competed for more than 50 minutes. The unexpected fact is that, despite making 20 appearances, he doesn’t have the most total service time. Kane had a collective time of 3:19.40 in those 20 games. Although it’s still outstanding, over three hours places him in eighth place all-time.

Dolph Ziggler

Over the course of his time with WWE, The Show-Off has managed to make 15 appearances in the Royal Rumble. Ziggler’s frequency of appearances, though, is expected given his loyalty to the organization. Ziggler has very infrequently taken time off from WWE; he is healthy, and WWE has consistently employed him frequently. In this particular bout type, Ziggler is a reliable hand to have on hand since he has the endurance of an ironman and the ability to make an impression quickly. In those games, he has also had some fantastic moments. Making an unexpected comeback in 2018 or competing alongside Chris Jericho as the match’s first two men in 2013 both contributed to some unforgettable moments.

Randy Orton

One of the most productive wrestlers in the Royal Rumble’s history is Randy Orton. In 2009 and 2017, the 14-time World Champion triumphed twice in the Royal Rumble bout. It was the first time he managed to win a World Title at ‘Mania’, but his second victory led to him defeating Bray Wyatt to capture the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 33. Even so, Orton has now made an impressive 14 appearances in the Royal Rumble, and he will keep going. The Apex Predator would like to add winning the Rumble three times, which Steve Austin is the only person to accomplish, to his outstanding list of accomplishments.

Kofi Kingston

Every year, Kofi has impressed everyone with how he has survived in the game, growing even more inventive and clever in the process. Kofi always tries to stay in the game, whether it involves using a heap of pancakes or an announcer’s chair. Kofi Kingston has made 14 appearances at the Royal Rumble, two more than The Undertaker. Even though he has never succeeded in winning the Rumble or even come close, he has always had an impact. Kingston is well-known for some things, including his performances on the Royal Rumble set. The New Day member has consistently strived to leave his imprint, and his iconic last-second saves have turned into a match tradition.

Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio and the Royal Rumble match are inextricably linked. Mysterio only ever won one Royal Rumble bout, and it was one of his best efforts as a Royal Rumble victor. Mysterio paid respect to his friend Eddie Guerrero, who passed away, and he wanted to honor him by triumphing in the Royal Rumble contest. The ultimate underdog succeeded in doing just that, and, astonishingly, he beat former Evolution stablemates Triple H and Randy Orton in the final three. Mysterio has participated in 12 Royal Rumble bouts, and tragically, when he entered the 2014 Royal Rumble event as the final entrant, the crowd unfairly booed him because they were impatient to see Daniel Bryan. However, as of this writing, Mysterio has participated in 12 Rumble matches, and his most recent participation, in the men’s Royal Rumble event of 2022, brought his total to 13.
