Michael Vaughan also used X to mock India’s poor fielding during the Test, joking that he could become their fielding coach. He pointed out the several dropped catches that helped Ben Duckett go on to score a match-winning 149.

“Just to let you know, I have offered myself to India as a fielding coach. My academy does a roaring trade,” he tweeted.

Duckett’s brilliant knock earned him the Player of the Match award and helped England take an important lead in the five-match series. India will be disappointed with the loss, especially in a game they had under control. Centuries from four Indian batters put them in strong positions in both innings, but sudden batting collapses of 7/41 and 6/31, along with poor fielding and an ineffective bowling performance, led to their defeat.
