GT Full Squad, IPL 2026: The IPL 2026 mini auction turned out to be a fairly low-key affair for IPL 2022 champions Gujarat Titans. The franchise made just five purchases overall, with Jason Holder emerging as their biggest buy at ₹7 crore. England batter Tom Banton was the second most expensive signing for GT, picked up for ₹2 crore, while Ashok Sharma joined the squad for ₹90 lakh.
GT showed particular interest in Jason Holder, pushing their bids to secure the experienced West Indies all-rounder. They also added England pacer Luke Wood for ₹75 lakh and young Prithviraj Yarra for ₹30 lakh to complete their auction business.

While the Gujarat Titans were in solid form for most of the previous season, a dip in their last three matches raised some concerns. Their campaign ended with a loss to the Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator, which left several unanswered questions heading into the mini auction.
In the lead-up to the auction, GT made a number of changes by releasing Mahipal Lomror, Karim Janat, Gerald Coetzee, Dasun Shanaka, Sherfane Rutherford, and Kulwant Khejroliya. Sherfane Rutherford was also traded to MI as part of their reshuffle.

Despite the limited activity at the auction, the Gujarat Titans ensured that their core stayed strong. The franchise retained key players, including captain Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Anuj Rawat, Washington Sundar, Rahul Tewatia, and Mohammed Siraj.
GT entered the mini auction with a purse of ₹12.90 crores. Last season, their success was largely built around the strong top order of Jos Buttler, Sudharsan, and Gill. However, the middle order continued to be an area of concern, with Washington Sundar struggling to find consistency and Shahrukh Khan failing to make a strong impact.
