Fans had been waiting for the IPL 2026 schedule for a long time, and now it has finally been announced. However, this time the organisers have not released the full schedule for the entire season. IPL 2026: Opening Match Between RCB and SRH
The first match of IPL 2026 will be played between the defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Usually, the league starts with a match between the two teams that played in the previous season’s final. However, this time the opening game will be between RCB and SRH. The match will take place at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The second match of the season will feature five-time champions Mumbai Indians against three-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders. This game will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
