Youngest Players To Reach 1000 Runs In T20: With Vaibhav Sooryavanshi reaching the 1,000 run mark in only 26 innings, He is now the third fastest Indian to reach 1,000 runs in T20 cricket. A rising star is becoming known for his success in cricket.

At just 15 years old, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is creating record books that will eclipse those of many greater players with his outstanding accomplishments. His first game played as a member of the Rajasthan Royals during match 36 of IPL 2026 saw this young batsman set a historical milestone against all odds.

During his match against the Sunrisers at Jaipur, he showed no mercy to the bowlers by scoring 100 runs in only 36 balls (12 sixes, 5 fours) and would complete his second IPL century to date. He also made a record for having scored a century in just 35 balls (IPL 2025).

His aggressive batting style began from the first ball of the match against Hyderabad, which put extreme pressure on the opposition bowlers. He reached halfway to his century with a phenomenal 15-ball (50 runs) and demonstrated explosive batting with that innings, and as a result, he has made some history with this innings.

Vaibhav Becomes the Youngest Batsman to Score 1,000 Runs

Actually, warranting him reach his 1,000th run was scoring 45 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad which made him the youngest player to achieve this milestone 15 years & 29 days old. Which is an astonishing record in itself.

Sooryavanshi reached 1,000 runs in his 26th innings of T20 cricket and therefore making him the third-fastest Indian batsman to obtain 1,000 runs in this form of cricket. He is also ahead of Sachin Tendulkar (31 innings).

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has once again amazed the IPL spectators with his battering ability. He scored his half a hundred in 15 balls, which during this league is his third accomplishment of that accomplishment. With this splendid performance, he has 357 runs during this IPL 2026 season through only seven matches, maintaining a strike rate above 200.

During the previous season IPL 2025 he became the youngest player in T20 cricket history to score a century when he reached the milestone against the Gujarat Titans. In this IPL season, this was the second-fastest century ever recorded and was achieved just over 40 minutes into the match.

During his first year in the IPL, he played 8 games and totaled 292 runs at an average of 41.71 with a strike rate of 229.92 as evidence of his attacking style of play.
