Rajasthan Royals teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who grabbed everyone’s attention with his breathtaking batting in the recently concluded IPL, met the legendary Indian cricketer Virat Kohli on the IPL 2026 final night. Their meetup took social media by storm, and fans were eager to find out about their conversation.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru clinched their second IPL title after defeating the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Virat’s IPL team, RCB, took to social media and posted a small clip of Kohli’s conversation with Vaibhav after the final clash.

In the video, which went viral online, the former RCB captain advised Vaibhav to build on his early success.

“Yaha se upar jaana hai. Jo hua hai vo achi mehant, belief ki wajah se hua hai. Abhi kon kya bol raha hai, kaise nahi bol raha hai (nahi sunna hai)… bat for two. Ek bihari sab pe bhari fir khatam game,” Kohli said.

In the IPL 2026 clash against RCB in IPL 2026, Vaibhav played an impactful knock of 78 runs off just 26 balls. The young gun faced a seasoned bowling attack that included Josh Hazlewood, Krunal Pandya, Rasikh Salam Dar, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, while batting with an explosive strike rate of 300.

Riyan Parag-led RR easily chased the target of 202 runs in just 18 overs while losing just four wickets thanks to his powerful effort. During his match-winning knock, Vaibhav’s knock included eight fours and seven sixes. After the game, the young batter received an autographed cap from Virat Kohli, which he wore in several matches of the season while playing for the Men in Pink.
