India’s U-19 World Cup squad has been announced, with Yash Dhull set to captain the team

On Sunday, the All-India Junior Selection Committee named the roster for the ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup, which will be held in the West Indies from January 14 to February 5, 2022, with four host countries.

With four titles in 2000, 2008, 2012, and 2018, India is the most successful squad. India finished second in the last edition of the tournament, which was hosted in New Zealand in 2020.

 

The top two clubs from each of the four groups will advance to the Super League, while the remaining teams will compete in the Plate over the course of 23 days. India’s U19 team is in Group B.

 

India’s first match will be against South Africa on January 15, followed by matches against Ireland and Uganda on January 19 and 22.
