Steve Smith was disappointed after missing out on a hundred in the first Test match of the three-match Test series against Pakistan National Cricket Team at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The historic Test match between Pakistan and Australia is moving towards a draw, as at Stumps on Day 4, Australia were at 449-7 in reply to Pakistan’s first innings total of 476-4, with Mitchell Starc and skipper Pat Cummins out in middle.
“I got a bit greedy with the field they had set. I had worked pretty hard and got myself in a nice position to go on and get a big score,” he said.
“Perhaps if we were five down we might have been able to push a little harder in the morning and potentially set something up for the fourth innings,” he added.
