Indian cricket team are currently in Zimbabwe to play the three-match ODI series against them. The first ODI has been played between them and India won it pretty easily. India is currently leading the series by 1-0 after they defeat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets. Both the opening batter namely Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill were amazing in the game.

Not only in this game, but this Shikhar and Shubman’s partnership has been amazing since the West Indies’ tour. Shubman Gill who scored 82* runs in the first ODI against Zimbabwe is been playing really well in ODIs as well.

The players and the team management are really happy to see him progressing in the ODIs after T20Is and Test cricket. Indian head coach Rahul Dravid believes Shubman Gill can be a huge plus point for India in future.

In the last four ODIs he (Shubman Gill) played for India, he scored three half-centuries in that.

Shubman Gill scores in the last 4 ODIs for India:

1. 64 (53) vs West Indies

2. 43 (49) vs West Indies

3. 98* (98) vs West Indies

4. 82* (72) vs Zimbabwe.

He missed out on his well deserved maiden century in the last ODI against West Indies due to rain.
