When Lopez joined WWE in 2010, he was sent to the company’s Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW) developmental brand, where he adopted the name Seth Rollins and won the FCW Grand Slam Championship for the first time. He was named the first NXT Champion after WWE changed the name of FCW to NXT. At the 2012 Survivor Series, Lopez made his main roster debut for WWE with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns as a member of the Shield. Together with Reigns, Rollins and the WWE Tag Team Championship became the top dogs on the main roster.
