The Master Blaster, widely recognised as the God of Cricket, Sachin Tendulkar is a popular figure. In international one-day cricket, he has scored 18,426 runs, while in test cricket, he has scored 15,921 runs. Beyond only his outstanding on-field play, the legend is so much more. Tendulkar has succeeded in building a desirable brand and a successful business because he never loses sight of his objectives. Tendulkar’s estimated net worth is around Rs 118 crores given his outstanding career and several endorsements.

Between 1989 and 2013, a period of 23 years, Sachin Tendulkar dominated the hearts of countless cricket fans worldwide with his performances on the pitch. Sachin Tendulkar, who is considered one of the best cricketers of all time if not the best, rose to prominence at the same time that India’s stature in the sport increased. A squad from India without his name on it was unthinkable during this time. It goes without saying that a player with such iconic significance won’t frequently disappear from the public spotlight after hanging up his boots. The feats of Sachin Tendulkar during his illustrious playing career are well known.

In this article, we will take a look at the details of what the master blaster and the god of cricket has been engaged in following his retirement from the sport.

  • Philanthropy

Tendulkar mentioned adopting Puttamraju Kandriga, a hamlet in Andhra Pradesh, as one of the highlights of his after-retirement activities in a post on LinkedIn earlier this year. He wrote in the post, “Watching the community don a new look after two years of rigorous infrastructural development, was a delight that can’t be put into words.” Also, he represents hygiene and sanitation for UNICEF. ‘Spreading Happiness,’ an initiative that “provides electricity to underserved places,” is another endeavour in which he is engaged.

  • Inclination towards sports

Tendulkar’s participation in sports outside of cricket has maybe made him the most recognisable feature of his post-retirement activities. He is the owner of Kerala Blasters, an ISL team. The Blasters have been a part of two ISL championship games in their three years of existence and have possibly the most devoted fan base of any team in the league. The ISL is recognised as one of the most well-supported leagues in the world on that front, with average stadium attendances for their matches rivalling even the greatest football clubs in Europe.

  • Autobiography and Books

Tendulkar is well aware of his admirers’ want to learn more about him because his life narrative continues to be one of inspiration. Shortly after his retirement, his autobiography, “Playing It My Way,” which he co-wrote with sports journalist Boria Majumdar, was published. According to him, the upcoming movie “Sachin: A Billion Dreams” highlights hitherto unrevealed aspects of his life and work. Sonu Nigam and he recently worked together on the tune “Cricketwalli Beat.”
